12 Red Roses Virtual Gift Card
On Midsummer’s Day each year, Naomi House & Jacksplace pays its rent in the form of 12 red roses. This tradition dates back to the time before Naomi House opened in 1997, when Mary Cornelius-Reid kindly allowed a hospice to be built on her land in the Sutton Manor Estate. This offer came with two conditions; that the hospice be named after her youngest daughter, Naomi, and that each and every Midsummer’s Day, the hospice pays a peppercorn rent of a dozen red roses. This tradition is faithfully carried out each year and a bouquet of flowers is presented to Naomi.
However, this year, we're inviting you to get involved and ‘chip in’ to the cost of our services, by buying one of our ‘12 Red Roses’ virtual gift cards!
Each high quality card comes with an envelope and has space for you to write a special personalised message to whoever is receiving it.
Your £20 virtual gift card will help fund the vital work of the hospices, caring for seriously ill children, young adults and their families on good days, difficult days and last days. Thank you for your support.
