From schools to universities, and students to teachers, we’ve got lots of ideas and resources for you to hold your biggest and best fundraisers yet.
Fundraising should be fun – just like our hospices! If you want inspiration on how to fundraise for us, or have an idea for your own fundraising event, we can support you with bundles of tools, resources and ideas. Keep reading to get some inspiration from the different activities we do at Naomi House & Jacksplace, and from what our current supporters have done to raise vital funds and awareness for our hospices.
It was a pleasure to work with Naomi House & Jacksplace and their team. From the start to finish, they helped with planning and even presented the medals on the finish line! Each year we try to raise awareness of different charities in school - this was a perfect opportunity to do this whilst having lots of fun and raising money for a great cause. The buzz created by the Rainbow Run was fantastic and it has formed memories which I know will live long in the minds of the children.
From dress down days to full on fundraising events, there’s lots of things you can do at school to raise money for Naomi House & Jacksplace. Check out some of our fundraising ideas below or get in touch with support for your own!
Sports-a-thon is a great fundraiser based around getting active at sports day. From rounder’s matches to cycling round the gardens in our wheelchair bicycles, we’re always out in the hospices gardens. You can your own sports-a-ton from as little as having a sports themed dress down day or having a refreshments stand at the afternoon races, to going all out and having a full day of sporty fun!
Christmas-a-thon is a great way to do some of the activities we do in the hospices over the festive season at school! From decorating cookies to making your own snowflakes, you can take part in as much or as little as you want over the Christmas period. Why not have a Christmas Jumper Day or host your own School Santa Fun Run?

Choose us as your house charity or grab a group of friends together to fundraise – it’s entirely up to you! You could do an interhouse tug of war, a FIFA tournament or even a charity plant sale – take a look at our fundraising ideas below for some more inspiration.
Game On! is a fundraiser inspired from the young adults who stay in Jacksplace. Young people with limited mobility often lack control on their everyday lives, so gaming gives them the opportunity to be in complete control of a scenario and the decisions they make. You can challenge yourselves to game for 12 hours, stream through Twitch or gather a group of your friends together for a knockout tournament of Wii Tennis!
Sustainable Fashion Day is a dress down day with a twist – wear an item on recycle or pre loved clothing! More than 300,000 tonnes of wearable but unwanted clothing ends up in landfill in the UK every year so by swapping your clothes with your friends, wearing a hand-me-down or buying your clothes from a charity shop you’re helping keep these clothes out of landfill. Check out where your nearest Naomi House & Jacksplace shop is here.
