A unique opportunity to 'run the runway' at Solent Airport
Imagine the excitement of running down a runway that is normally reserved for airplanes!
The runway course is flat, and is a smooth stretch of asphalt that is free from any obstacles or bumps – a superb route for that all important PB!
Chip timing will be used to accurately record the finish times for every runner.
Entry is £16.50 per runner or £14.50 if you are UKA registered.
Timings for the day:
- 7:15am Check in opens
- 8:00am Race starts
- 9:00am Race ends

There is NO parking on site - we suggest parking at Monks Hill Car Park, Salterns Road, Lee-on-the-Solent, PO13 9NJ.
Number Collection:
We will be on site at the Solent Airport for numbers to be collected on Saturday 21st June from 10:00 - 13:00. Numbers can also be collected from 7:15am on the Sunday morning.
There will be a limited number of places available to purchase on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd on a first come first served basis.
Extras:
Cafe At Zero 5 and the Burger Van will be open and serving tea, coffee, cake and breakfast baps.
We will have a raffle on the day, with various prizes! Tickets cost £2.00 each (card payments only)

They will provide you with little bite size pieces of advice within the group as well as answering any injury, recovery, or pain questions that you may have.
The route for Solent Airport 5k has been officially measured and certified as a 5k route by the Association of UK Course Measurers
