Katie qualified as a Chartered Management Accountant in 2006. Her career started in the NHS at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust. The hospital operational budget was in the region of £500 million. With over 20 years of NHS service, she’s gained a wealth of experience working across the hospital in roles within financial accounting and financial management. Katie also managed the finances of the Portsmouth Hospitals Charity, with reserves of £3million.

In 2016, it was time for a new challenge, keen to remain within the heath and not-for profit sectors she joined Naomi House and Jacksplace, eager to make a difference and add value to the lives of children, young adults and families we support.

Katie was promoted to our Director of Finance at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020, supporting the charity through challenging financial times and her work continues, providing important strategic financial oversight.
