Corporate partner, William Grant & Sons, recently took part in our ‘Hustle’ event, securing an incredible £6,000 worth of much-needed items for our hospices.

This is in addition to the team reaching a phenomenal £100,000 in fundraising for our charity, since our partnership began in 2006.

40 of the William Grant team took part in the Hustle event, overseen by Business Account Manager, Kayte Kelly. The objective of the event was to secure as many much needed items for our hospices as possible, from a list curated by our fundraising team.

The ‘hustlers’ came up with the goods and surpassed all expectations, securing 166 vital items for the children, young adults and families in our care, alongside items for our volunteer gardeners and fundraising team, all worth over £6,000. Items include a garden bench, a lawnmower, 8 wheelbarrows, PS5 games, duvet sets, 200 sensory toys, 37 pieces of signed memorabilia, £500+ in vouchers and prizes for fundraising events.

It was a pleasure to work with the ‘hustlers’, all who went above and beyond to secure some staggering items, which will be well used here at our hospices. We are honoured to have William Grant as a long-term corporate partner, who have been by our side for the last 18 years to help us support our families. To reach £100,000 in fundraising is a huge achievement and incredible milestone and we cannot thank their dedicated teams enough, who have made this all possible.

It was an absolute pleasure to bring this year’s Hustle to life in a new and inclusive fashion, by taking part remotely. Our colleagues came together as a team to collect vital items for Naomi House & Jacksplace; a charity we believe are truly remarkable in what they are able to provide for young people and their families. Everyone enjoyed the experience, and it’s something we’re looking forward to participating in again. We are proud to work with Naomi House & Jacksplace as our charity partner.
