Naomi House & Jacksplace recently attended Minety Music Festival for the fifth year running, as one of their 'supporting charities'.Minety Music Festival is a not-for-profit, 4-day community festival run entirely by volunteers. It is set in the heart of the Cotswolds in the charming village of Minety in Wiltshire. The festival aims to raise money for a number of charities including Naomi House & Jacksplace.
The festival featured shows across 4 stages and over 100 acts, including a Kidzone, a treehouse tent for teens and lots of opportunities to have a boogie for the whole family. Our charity's stall was located in the Kidzone where we bought along 'Naomi & Jack’s Sensory Zone'. This was inspired by our play team and featured activities carried out with the children and young adults in our care, including remote control car painting and sensory toys.
Tash Haji, Senior Fundraiser at Naomi House & Jacksplace, said:
We were so pleased to be invited back again to celebrate the summer in style as one of Minety's chosen benefitting charities. We really enjoyed being present at the festival, giving festival go-ers the opportunity to express themselves and create masterpieces with our remote control car painting! The vital funds raised from the event will impact the important work we do supporting children, young adults and families across seven counties, when they need it most. So thank you to everyone involved.
We are now looking forward to 2024, for the sixth year of Minety Music Festival. You can buy your tickets early, for an excellent weekend of music and fun activities, from here: www.minetyfestival.co.uk/buy-tickets
