Stagecoach South Portsmouth Halloween bus raises funds for hospices
This year, several members of the Stagecoach South Portsmouth driving team has taken on a fun Halloween fundraiser to raise money for Naomi House & Jacksplace. By operating their festive Halloween bus, the team has raised over £470 for life limited and life threatened children and young adults.
Colin Ashcroft, Operations Manager for Portsmouth at Stagecoach South, said:
Several members of the team dressed up to get in the spooky spirit. The bus was decorated by one of our supervisors Dan, who then dressed up to operate the bus during the week. He was joined by Dave, Bea, Michelle, Frankie, Tommy, Sue, Ryan, Colin, Wayne, and Charlotte, who across the week have driven various bus routes from Havant to Hayling, Portsmouth, Chichester, Paulsgrove and Waterlooville.
The Halloween bus, adorned with pumpkins, ghosts, and cobwebs, welcomed people of all ages. Commuters warmly received the festive bus and its enthusiastic staff, appreciating their efforts to raise money for charity.

We have supported Naomi House & Jacksplace several times over the last few years. We operate a Halloween bus and a Christmas bus to fundraise for the hospices, and as a depot we have always looked to support children's charities when operating these buses for children.
