Solent Airport 5k returns in 2025
We are thrilled to announce the return of the Solent Airport 5K this June for its third year.
The Solent Airport 5k offers participants a unique opportunity to race on a flat, straight and smooth stretch of asphalt at Solent Airport, Lee-on-the-Solent. The event is now registered with UK Athletics which promises to attract some of the country’s most ambitious athletes, alongside our local runners who are eager to achieve a new personal best.
Since its launch, the Solent Airport 5K has raised an incredible £13,500 for our hospices. This year, we aim to match or exceed that total, helping to continue providing outstanding care and support for our children, young adults, and their families.
We are absolutely thrilled to bring the Solent Airport 5K back for its third year! This year promises to be bigger and better than ever, thanks to the incredible support of UK Athletics, Solent Airport, and Fareham City Council. The funds raised will make a real and lasting difference to the children, young people, and families we support at Naomi House & Jacksplace. Whether you're an experienced runner or just looking for a fun challenge, we encourage everyone to sign up, take to the runway, and make a difference!
The run will be chip timed and runners of all abilities & speeds will be welcomed.
Solent Airport 5k takes place on Sunday 22nd June, starting at 08:00. Participants need to be at least 16 years of age and entry starts from £14.50
The Solent Airport 5km is growing bigger and better year on year. 2025 is set to be the biggest yet and we are all looking forward to welcoming back Naomi House & Jacksplace to ‘Run the Runway’ and raising money for a very worthwhile charity
