Siblings Christmas Party!

This week, our siblings group met for a festive gathering to get in the spirit of Christmas. Together they played games, socialised and took home presents at the end of the day.

Naomi House & Jacksplace's support worker, Jenny, regularly hosts activity days for siblings of children and young adults who visit our hospices. During these events, siblings have a chance to socialise, have fun together and meet their peers who might share similar experiences and feelings.

Sibling days are really important for the brothers and sisters of children who access the hospice. They are a chance for them to have fun and meet others who may have experienced similar challenges and feelings.

The fun activity day included dancing under the snow, popping magical bubbles, and making new friends.

Everyone watched in awe as magic tricks were performed, and took part in the fun by waving a wand. A cuddly bear appeared to make jokes and everyone gathered to dance and play games, from posing as snowmen, to running in relays.

The day was completed by a delivery from Santa's elves, who brought presents for siblings to place under their Christmas tree. The connection and joy felt during the day, filled us all with positivity and festive spirit.

Thank you to the wonderful entertainer for helping us create some magic for our siblings.
