Local hygiene and cleaning product supplier, Serenity Hygiene, supported Naomi House & Jacksplace in many ways in 2020, through providing a generous free supply of hand sanitising products. Arguably, our flagship fundraising event, the Clarendon Way Walk, wouldn’t have been possible without them.
Covid-19 has created a huge number of challenges for the fundraising team here at Naomi House & Jacksplace, affecting everything from our challenge events like the Clarendon Way Walk, to our charity shops through Hampshire and Dorset. However, Hampshire-based Serenity Hygiene saw an opportunity to support us as a local charity and put their products to work.
We are proud to be able to say that we managed to run our famous Clarendon Way Walk event in September 2020, whilst complying to all government guidelines at the time. This was in part possible due to every participant receiving a personal supply of Serenity Hygiene sanitising hand foam for use throughout the day.
Serenity Hygiene also stepped up to provide hand sanitiser to be used at the entrance of all of our 23 charity shops, for the benefit of our shoppers, donors and staff.
And if that wasn’t enough, in the lead up to Christmas, as a lovely gift to many of the families we support, we put together a goodie bag filled with seasonal treats, small gifts and some more practical offerings. As it has now become an essential item in every household, these goodie bags saw a gift to each family of hand sanitiser, again courtesy of Serenity Hygiene.
The team at Serenity Hygiene supported Naomi House & Jacksplace in many ways in 2020, through providing a generous free supply of hand sanitising products. Arguably, our flagship fundraising event, the Clarendon Way Walk, wouldn’t have been possible without them. It is a very important event for everyone involved in the charity so we’re delighted it was able to go ahead. We’re very grateful for Serenity’s help; giving our families sanitiser gifts at Christmastime is just another example of how thoughtful they are and how willing they are to go the extra mile.
It’s not about telling the world what we’ve done and expecting a pat on the back, lots of organisations have been very generous throughout the pandemic giving PPE and other very important equipment. We want to inspire smaller businesses like us that they can still get involved with giving and help is very much still needed - there’s a part everyone can play in our recovery from this virus. We’re so proud of our involvement with Naomi House and having met the team, they deserve a world of recognition.
A huge thank you from all of us here at Naomi House & Jacksplace to the incredibly generous team at Serenity Hygiene. To find out more about the team and their work, visit: https://serenityhygiene.com
