SAW Rollercoaster challenge for Naomi & Jack

George, a student at Costello School in Basingstoke, took on a gravity-defying challenge with his friends Louis and Lewis, riding the SAW - the Ride rollercoaster 14 times in one day. George and his friends Louis and Lewis raised over £590 in vital funds for Naomi House & Jacksplace.

George wanted to take on a thrilling challenge to create content for his TikTok account TwistedAirtime and decided to combine his love for rollercoasters with fundraising. The challenge was not for the faint of heart, with the SAW ride featuring a vertical drop of 100 degrees, from a height of 100ft. George, Louis and Lewis, braved the heights, twists and turns of the rollercoaster to complete their challenge and surpassed their fundraising goal.

I am a rollercoaster enthusiast and have always wanted to ride a rollercoaster all day. I wanted to do a fun challenge for my TikTok, TwistedAirtime, and I decided that the SAW ride would be the perfect choice. I invited my friends, Louis and his brother Lewis, to join the challenge. I wanted to have fun and raise money for Naomi House & Jacksplace.

I chose to fundraise for Naomi House & Jacksplace after I looked through your website and saw all the amazing things you do. Being a local charity, I knew that people in my community were being supported. I also loved the idea of combining my two passions; rollercoasters and content creation, to be able to help raise money for those who need it.

Overall, we had a great time raising over £500 for Naomi House & Jacksplace. We received donations from my followers on social media, family, friends and other anonymous individuals! It was my favourite part about the day, and my friends and I are truly gratified to have achieved our fundraising goal.
