Saica Pack mountain hike raises £10,000
Our friends from Saica Pack, a global packaging solutions company, recently took on a challenge of hiking up South Wales' highest peak, Pen y Fan. The team raised an incredible £10,000 for Naomi House & Jacksplace.
The hike up Pen y Fan was an impressive feat, coupled with the soaring temperatures during day, but Team Saica didn't give up on achieving their goal of reaching to the top. They completed their challenge and reached the summit. What's more they completely surpassed their fundraising target of £2,500, and raising an incredible £10,000 for our hospices.

Saica Pack South West's Regional Management team selected Naomi House & Jacksplace as its designated charity for 2023, acknowledging their exceptional dedication in delivering expert hospice care to children, young adults and their families with life limiting and life threatening conditions across central southern England.
The initiative recently culminated in our team climbing the Pen y Fan mountain. At 886 meters (2900 ft) Pen y Fan, in the Brecon Beacons, is the highest peak in South Wales! It was a gruelling challenge for the group, but the team were all highly motivated and proudly reached the summit together in their pursuit of raising funds for Naomi House & Jacksplace.
It was a very rewarding experience for everyone involved. With spectacular views from the Peak and support received from work colleagues, friends, family, customers and suppliers who have helped Saica raise over £10,000 in sponsorship donations for an amazing cause.
