We are delighted to announce that for the third year running, we are one of CarFest’s chosen local charities!
Created by Chris Evans to raise funds for UK’s children’s charities, CarFest is the largest family fundraising festival in the UK. Over the last 10 years, the event has raised over £20 million for its charity partners. The event is taking place from 25-27 August in Laverstoke Farm, Overton, Hampshire.
This year, Naomi House & Jacksplace has been selected as a local chosen charity, meaning we will receive 2% of funds raised at the festival.
Tash Haji, Community Fundraiser at Naomi House & Jacksplace, said:
Our team had a brilliant time at CarFest 2022. It was lovely to meet lots of families who came and said hello and enjoyed the sensory space we hosted at the festival. We couldn’t be there for local life limited and life threatened children, young adults and their families without the help of our supporters. So, I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at CarFest for your continued support. We look forward to seeing you all again this August!
Naomi House & Jacksplace will be attending the festival again this year, with a sensory zone located in the festival’s ‘SpaFest’ area. Our sensory zone will be filled with activities for children and families to enjoy, created by our Play Team, who are well versed in organising accessible and stimulating games and activities for the children and young adults visiting the hospices, with their needs and abilities in mind. If you’re attending the festival, come and say hello and enjoy our sensory space!
