We are thrilled to welcome Herrington Carmichael to our Corporate Partnership family. Herrington Carmichael Solicitors is a full-service law firm advising families and businesses for over 180 years across Hampshire, Surrey and the Thames Valley. Their support helps us deliver essential care and support to our children, young adults, and their families. Since September this year, their dedicated team has made a significant impact. They have hosted a successful Wine Tasting evening raising £1100, participated in the Second-Hand September initiative, supported our recent Garden of Roses campaign by contributing to a beautiful bunch of hand-forged metal roses, and made an impactful video to highlight the importance of making a will to use in our related campaign.
Graeme Black, Partner and Chair of the CSR committee at Herrington Carmichael said:
As a CSR committee, our hope is that our partnership with Naomi House & Jacksplace will give each of our colleagues a sense of pride, responsibility and joy as we positively impact families in our community going through some very challenging times. Every deed and donation, no matter how big or small, makes a positive difference and we are delighted to be supporting Naomi House & Jacksplace.
At Naomi House & Jacksplace, we are delighted to be pioneering holistic corporate fundraising through innovative pillars of support that enable wider teams to get involved. These include team fundraising; volunteering; providing a professional service; donating a gift in kind; sharing what we do and referring us; and sponsorship of our events. The firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility Committee has prioritised supporting local charities and communities to ensure that they are giving back to the families and businesses they serve, supporting our hospices via these pillars, knowing that the impact on the local community will be substantial.
The different ways in which Herrington Carmichael have already supported us in such a short space of time has been fantastic. Our kick off Call My Bluff wine tasting event was such fun and a lovely opportunity to meet more of the team over some rather lovely vintages from the Wine Yard in Farnham. The feedback from the team has been so positive. We have set the bar rather high for future events and I am so looking forward to our future plans!
We are delighted and to be partnering with Herrington Carmichael and are looking forward to many more collaborations in the years ahead. Without our supporters couldn’t deliver the best care and support to our families at our hospices.
