Come rain or shine, the children of Little Learners Day Care managed a sponsored walk around their local park to raise money for Naomi House & Jacksplace!
Little Learners Day Care provides a secure, fun, caring, nurturing and educating environment for littles ones aged between three months and five years old.
Earlier in the year, the children and staff from the ‘Squirrels Room’ walked around St Mary’s Park in Portsmouth every day for a week, once in the morning, once in the afternoon and in total they raised a fantastic £3,100.
They were over the moon to have completed the challenge and just look at all their gorgeous smiley faces, they could not be happier!
And lastly, a huge shout out to Elaine, Vicky and their staff for taking on a 16 mile walk around Portsmouth on June 4th, starting and finishing at the nursery.
Their route took them through Eastney, along the seafront at Southsea, past a lovely little pub in Old Portsmouth called Still & West. From there, it was a straight line from Gunwharf, along Commercial Road to Somers Town and through Fratton.
I am so proud of all the children and staff, a massive well done also to our parents for all the sponsor money and to the community for donating on our walk around Portsmouth
On behalf of everyone at Naomi House & Jacksplace, THANK YOU. Little Learners have been supporting the charity for several years and we are truly grateful.
