The hospice elves have been very busy at Naomi House & Jacksplace recently… turning both hospices into a magical Winter Wonderland!
Thanks to our brilliant Play & Activities team and Maintenance team, everywhere you look in the hospices is sparkling with Christmas. Naomi House has cheeky elves hanging around every corner, a Santa’s grotto, a multi-sensory snow-themed igloo, a huge balloon photo booth with props, and Christmas trees galore.
Jacksplace has been transformed into a Winter Wonderland, with traditional white lights, woodland themed decorations, snow-like drapes, and beautifully decorated Christmas trees.
The gardens feature light trails including enchanting tunnels of lights, an Elf’s Café, candy cane pathways, reindeer, snowmen, and a gingerbread man! Check out this short video to see the magical lights...
The hospice Christmas transformation is not only down to the hard work of our Play, Care and Maintenance elves, but also down to a brilliant bunch of festive volunteers.
With huge thanks to the following fabulous people…
Thank you also to the following companies and people for gift/decoration donations:
Paul Morgan, Director of Fundraising and Communications at Naomi House & Jacksplace, shares his message of thanks:
We couldn’t do what we do without the incredible support of our corporate and community partners and awesome volunteers, thank you so much to each and every one of you for your wonderfully merry support this Christmas. And a special hats off to our Play & Activities team and Maintenance team - you've all made our hospices truly magical for everyone that visits the site this December, especially our children, young adults and their families.
Children, young adults, staff and families from Naomi House & Jacksplace recently took a very magical trip out of the hospices to the enchanting Light Up Trail at Hillier Gardens!
