Our wonderful corporate partner, Bio Horizons Camlog, have raised over £13,000 for Naomi House & Jacksplace at their recent Dental Symposium event held at the De Vere Beaumont Hotel in Old Windsor.
The dental implant company have been supporting Naomi House & Jacksplace since 2014, and kindly chose to donate the delegate rate at their recent Symposium event to our hospices.
The event was attended by delegates from the dental world from all over the country. Senior Corporate Fundraiser, Ella Clayton and Trustee, Dr Mike Miller joined in the gala dinner celebrations, which included a talk about the hospice with a surprise cheque reveal for the audience to finish.
Naomi Pleasants, Marketing Manager at Bio Horizons Camlog, said this about our partnership:
As a company we wanted to partner with a local charity that we could support long term and help to make a difference. We wanted the whole UK & Ireland team to feel as though they had had a say in the process, so we had an internal vote on the charity to partner with and Naomi House & Jacksplace were by far the standout choice.
One of the ways we have partnered with them this year is to donate 100% of all our ticket sales from our National Symposium to the hospice. Along with some generous speaker and exhibitor donations, we have been able to donate and raise thus far £15,100 from this event alone! We’re thrilled we have been able to make a small difference for Naomi House & Jacksplace who do such worthwhile things for local families and children. We’re already planning other activities and events that we can do on behalf of this wonderful charity and really look forward to working with them for a long time to come!
Ella Clayton, Senior Corporate Fundraiser at Naomi House & Jacksplace, said:
We are so thrilled to be working with the team at Bio Horizons Camlog and they are a shining example of how companies are thinking outside the box to help raise funds for our charity. The money they have raised will be transformational for us and in real terms, could be spent on over 80 hours of nursing, which is truly amazing! We’re looking forward to a fun and rewarding fundraising journey with the team moving forward and can’t wait to work on their next fundraising scheme!
