Concorde Classics Car Show in aid of Naomi House & Jacksplace
This year’s Concorde Classics Car Show was one to remember! Sponsored by Silverlake Automotive Recycling, the event showcased an incredible lineup of over 140 display cars, drawing car enthusiasts and families alike to the Concorde Club in Eastleigh for a day filled with excitement, fun, and fundraising in support of Naomi House & Jacksplace. Raising a huge £12,444!
The event featured an impressive variety of cars, including Gordon Keebles, American Police cars, movie cars, and an enviable collection of supercars. Standout vehicles included the iconic Magnum 308, a stunning Mustang Shelby, and a roaring Nascar, which was even started up during the show to the delight of the crowd.
In addition to the amazing cars, visitors enjoyed a delicious BBQ and browsed through a range of trader stands, offering something for everyone. The atmosphere was electric, with Voice FM broadcasting live from the event and a special appearance by motorsport legend Tiff Needell.
The 2024 Concorde Classics Car Show was a great success, with families enjoying a fantastic day. It felt like a garden party for car enthusiasts, showcasing everything from vintage cars to modern supercars. The weather was perfect, and seeing the joy on everyone's faces was heart-warming. Many loved the Sporting Bears Dream Rides, and we’re sure they’re already looking forward to next year. A big thank you to the volunteers from Eastleigh Rotary Club and Naomi House & Jacksplace, whose help was invaluable. The beautiful Concorde grounds truly made the event special.
This year we raised a staggering £12,444.34 for the Hospices, which means over the last 15 years of running the show we have raised nearly £140,000 for the charity.
For those looking to get a little closer to the action, the Sporting Bears Dream Rides offered a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Attendees could book a passenger ride in the car of their dreams—whether that be the speed of a Ferrari, the roar of a Lamborghini, or the timeless beauty of a classic car—for a minimum donation to support the vital work of Naomi House & Jacksplace. The 10-mile or 20-minute ride gave participants a thrilling taste of life behind the wheel of some of the world’s most coveted cars.
The Concorde Classics Car Show 2024 wasn’t just about incredible cars—it was about community, charity, and coming together to support the life limited and life threatened children and young adults who rely on the care provided by Naomi House & Jacksplace.
