Trustee - Facilities Management

Closing date: 13 May 2024

Salary

Voluntary unpaid role

An exciting opportunity for experienced, professional and compassionate individuals to help shape the future direction of a respected local charity.

Responsibilities

Naomi House provides palliative and respite care for children, young adults and their families from seven counties across the south of England. With two purpose built hospices situated in the Hampshire countryside our promise is to deliver individualised care at a time when families need us most. Our ambition is high, our standards are first rate and our staff and volunteers are committed to maintaining both. We are now seeking to recruit to our Trustee board to ensure that we continue to achieve our goals and keep that promise.

We currently have an opening for a Trustee with Facilities Management experience. If you are looking for a rewarding experience where you can put your professional skills to good use then we would like to hear from you, especially if you have worked at senior or board level. Previous exposure to the charitable sector would also be an advantage, but more important, however is the desire to make a difference.

Commitment from Trustees is approximately six evening meetings per year and membership of one to two internal committees. Meetings are held at our premises and an enhanced disclosure from the DBS will be required for this role.

Please submit your CV and covering letter or for further information please contact June Morton, HR Director on 01962 765044 or june.morton@naomihouse.org.uk
