Facebook Fundraisers

Facebook Fundraisers enable people to raise money for charity via Facebook. Facebook users can create a dedicated page to share their story, tell others about their mission and encourage donations from their followers. People can then donate on the page with the click of a button, hassle free, without having to leave Facebook.

Suggested wording

If you're not sure what to write in your Facebook Fundraiser, we've pulled together a few suggested words for you...

"For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to Naomi House & Jacksplace. I’ve chosen to support my local hospices, as they do great things for local life limited and life threatened children, young adults and their families. I hope that you'll consider contributing as a way of celebrating with me.

Your donation could go towards a much-needed respite stay, vital nursing care, family bereavement support, a messy play session, a dip in the hydrotherapy pool, sensory therapy and many more services that Naomi House & Jacksplace provides.

Every little bit will help me reach my goal, so please give what you can to support this worthy cause. Thank you."
